(c) R EPORT . — Not later than one year after the date of the enactment of this Act , the Comptroller General shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report containing the results of the audit re q uired by subsection (a). SEC.539 .SE N SE OF CON GR ESS ON TH E I NTERST A TE CO MP ACT ON E DU CATIONA L OPPORTUNIT Y FOR MILITARY CHILDREN. It is the sense of Congress to— (1) e x press strong support and commendation for all the States that ha v e successfully enacted the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children; (2) express its strong support and encourage all remaining States to enact the Interstate Compact on Educational Oppor - tunity for Military Children; (3) recognize the importance of the components of the Inter- state Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Chil- dren, including— (A) the transfer of educational records to expedite the proper enrollment and placement of students; (B) the ability of students to continue their enrollment at a grade level in the receiving State commensurate with their grade level from the sending State;
