The Death of Mr. Edward Manson

Mr. Registrar Francke in the Bankruptcy Court yesterday expressed regret at the death on Wednesday of Mr. Registrar Manson, suddenly, in his 70th year.

Mr. Francke referred to Mr. Manson's legal works and his joint editorship with Sir John Macdonell of the Journal of Comparative Legislation. In November, 1912, Mr. Manson was appointed a Registrar of the High Court (in Bankruptcy) for Companies Winding Up, and he constantly attended to his duties lately in spite of his being dreadfully crippled by disease. He (Mr. Francke) had personal recollections of Mr. Manson, extending over many year, as a charming and cultured companion and courteous gentleman.
