Orley Farm[edit]

Thank you for your edits in vol. 16! I used the PageCleanup not only to change the quotation marks, but also to remove the line breaks. In general, we remove line breaks, though in some cases they are important, like for poetry. By using the script, I may have introduced some punctutation errors (it changes commas to full stops before words beginning with upper case letters). During validation these errors can be removed again.Tylopous (talk) 18:12, 14 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Another thing: For paragraph breaks at a page boundary, we use {{nop}}. You can view the template documentation by following the link.--Tylopous (talk) 18:22, 14 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the cleanup help and advice! I've been paying more attention to punctuation and line breaks in vol. 17. I'll keep {{nop}} in mind, but a lot of the paragraphs in Orley Farm do not end with the pages. Nmarshall25 (talk) 18:32, 14 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Yes, sure. More pages end in the midst of a paragraph. This is why one can sometimes forget using nop. I think there's actually some option that each user can change in their preferences which is some kind of automated help with adding nop. I don't use it, though.Tylopous (talk) 18:36, 14 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Arabic title number of chapters[edit]

Hi. The community has a long-held consensus to standardise works by having subpages of works utilise "/Chapter N" in its titles, rather than roman numerals. To let you know that I will be updating the recent creations to change these over. — billinghurst sDrewth 00:07, 18 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I also did a bit of other tidy up of the header to how we typically would set a work--relative links, no year on subpages, and trim the one non-required empty parameter. I did have to pipe the output title, though that is less usually needed. You can see an example at special:diff/12599819. — billinghurst sDrewth 00:29, 18 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you very much for fixing this up for me! I'll to read a bit more about community consensus before future transclusions and keep this in mind for the future :) Nmarshall25 (talk) 01:29, 18 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Index:Divine Mercy Parish Letter - 6-19-20.pdf[edit]

This file doesn't exist, which means that Page:Divine Mercy Parish Letter - 6-19-20.pdf/1 doesn't show up in the index, nor is it transcluded to Letter on the Creation of Saint Benedict the Moor Parish as a Personal Parish. Is there a file with a different name that you were trying to transcribe? Also, why is this letter in scope for WS? —CalendulaAsteraceae (talkcontribs) 04:59, 14 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

I believe that and also:
should all be deleted as copyright violations unless some alternative is provided. -- Beardo (talk) 17:19, 30 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
