Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikisource! Thank you for adding India States Reorganisation Commission Report. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Please consider putting a brief description of yourself on your user page. If you are already a contributor to another Wikimedia project, such as Wikipedia, please mention this on your user page so we know how to contact you. Also, mention which languages you understand if English is not your first language.

In any case, I hope you enjoy donating your time to grow the Wikisource library that is free for everyone to use! In discussions, please "sign" your comments using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question here (click edit) and place {{helpme}} before your question.

Again, welcome! John Vandenberg 08:53, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

PD-INGov[edit]

I have created {{PD-INGov}} to cover this specific case, but there are probably others classes where copyright doesn't exist due to special "governmental" exemption. Feel free to expand the template as required.

Also, it would be good if you could review Indian Copyright Law? Is it an act, or the law? if it is the law, is it up to date with all the amendments? John Vandenberg 08:53, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

We have another Indian govt work that could be PD but our templates dont cover: THE PRIMARY CLASSICAL LANGUAGE OF THE WORLD. Could you take a look at this? John Vandenberg 18:08, 17 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Public domain status or recent works added[edit]

Hi. You have recently added a number of works, and, from the information provided, I cannot see that they are works that are in the public domain. Consequently they need to be up for discussion at Wikisource:Possible copyright violations. Please contribute your views at that page. Thanks. billinghurst sDrewth 02:17, 12 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

The permissions for this work are required as discussed at Wikisource:Possible copyright violations#Hyderabad CM Burgula Views about merger. We are coming up six months since when this matter was discussed and a statement was made that the permissions would be sought for compliance. I would feel that we are the point that there has been sufficient time to have these permissions provided and within the OTRS system of Wikimedia. I feel that if they are not in place within a couple of weeks then we will need to progress to deletion. :-/ — billinghurst sDrewth 03:49, 25 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
