ISABEL. A harlot of the land of Siron, who stole away the hearts of many. Among those seduced by her meretricious charms was Corianton, the son of Alma, the younger, who forsook the ministry among the Zoramites, on purpose to enjoy her company, greatly to the injury and scandal of the work of God among that people, and to the great grief of his father (B. C. 75).
