NOAH, LAND OF. A region in the land of Zarahemla, contiguous to Ammonihah, between the river Sidon and the Pacific Ocean. We are of the opinion that it was situated in the wilderness that bordered on that great sea. It was unsuccessfully invaded by the Lamanites in B. C. 81 and B.C. 73; but doubtless fell into their hands in the days of Moronihah (about B. C. 34), when the whole of South America fell into the hands of Laman's savage soldiery.
