BROWN (JAMES), printer in Aberdeen, 1650-61; "Market Place at the Townes Armes." Son of William Brown, Minister of Innernochtie. Succeeded Raban, in 1650, occupying the same house, and was appointed printer to the Town and University. Died July, 1661. Succeeded by John Forbes. [H. G.
