CROUCH (EDWARD), printer in London; Hosier Lane, Snow Hill, 1649-64. This printer is mentioned in the list of those bound over in 1649 not to print seditious pamphlets. [Calendar of State Papers, 1649-50, pp. 522, 523.] He was chiefly a printer of ephemeral literature such as the following broadside, An elegy on the most execrable murther of Mr. Clun one of the comedeans of the Theator Royal, 1664.
