HOLDEN (JOHN), bookseller in London, (1) Blue Anchor in the New Exchange; (2) The Anchor in the New Exchange. 1650-1. Apparently the predecessor of Henry Herringman at this address. Publisher of Abraham Cowley's Guardian, 1650, and Sir W. Davenant's Gondibert, 1651.
