*ארבונא m. (ארב, cmp. ערב) confounding of colors, thickness, whence feeble sight. Pes. 111b the following three things וכ׳ א׳ יהיבי (Ms. Oxf. עוורונא; Ms. M. v. Rabb. D. S. a. l.) cause defective eye-sight. ארבילא, v. אובלא.

Snh. 39a וקמרבלינהו Ms. M. (ed. Sonc. להו מא׳ וקא, oth. ed. להו מהדר) and shook them. thpe. אירבל (=איתארבל) to be shaken. ארבלא, ארבילא, ערבלא m. (ארב, cmp. ארובה) net work, sieve. B. Mets. 26b; Snh. 39a, v. preced. -- Macc. 20b בארבילא (Ms. M. בארבי); Snh. 89b בא׳ תמרא אכיל ate dates out of the sieve, i. e. did a harmless thing. -- Targ. Amos IX, 9 ערבלא. -- V. ערבלאין.

The entire sentence is spurious both from Mar lkba's title of Rabbi as well as from comparison with Keth. 60b.]

(play on or'gim II Sam. XXI, 19) they brought a subject up אורגה והוא and he carried it to a conclusive decision. Ib. עמו אורגין שהיו they argued with himm. --- Num.
