gihuts applies to woolen garments when they are new, and to white linen garments when laundried. Taan. 29b שלהם ככיבוס שלנו ג׳ (Ms. M. always גיחוץ) our (Babyl- onian) laundry work is like their (Palestinean) plain wash.
