Pa. דוור, דואר, דייר 1) to go around, to peddle (cmp. h. סחר). R. Hash. 9b (expl. דרור, Lev. XXV, 10) כמדייר וכ׳ ומוביל דיירא Ms. M. (ed. דיירא בי, Ar. s. v. דר 3; כי דריא מדואר) as a traveller is licensed to go around and carry his goods through the whole district. -- 2) to deposit manure, v. preced. Pi. --- B. Kam. 115b דירו דוירי הני Rashi (ed. דרי, Ms. R. דיירי דמדיירי, v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note) those (gentiles) who manure fields for pay by let- ting cattle live on them in folds. -- 3) to place around (in a row, Rashi). R. to l. c. דורה למרגליתא . . . אתר אית there is a place where a. pearl (or jewel) is called durah; Meg. 12a there is a pre- cious stone in the Sea places שמה ודירה Ms. M. (ed. דרה) whose name is dirah (darah); Y. Snh. X, 28a top תמן דירה . . קריין there (at a certain place) they call &c.
דורא III or דורא m. (דור I) a parasite worm in the bowels. Num. R. s. 7 [read:] במעיהן ד׳ נותן שאהיה; v. דרריא.
דורא IV n. (דרי II) burden, load. B. Kum. 92b (prov.) וכ׳ ד׳ דלית אי (our w. missing in Ar. s. v. דלא) if thou wilt lift the burden, I shall lift (if you will share the responsibility, I shall take the lead).

דורגון, דרגון m. (דרג) a suite of graded officers. Y. Hor. III, beg. 47a דידיה דו׳ וכל הוא Himself and His entire staff (of angels); Y. Snh. II, 20a top דר׳. Ex.
