טיף III m. ch. (v. טיפה) dripping; ט׳ ט׳ constant dripping. Pes. 111b ט׳ ט׳ דשתי מאן one who drinks the drippings of wine. Ab. Zar. 30b וכ׳ אין ט׳ ט׳ מי (Ms. M. omits מי) to liquids which drip into a vessel the rule concerning uncovered liquids does not apply; דעביד והוא ט׳ ט׳ בהדי ט׳ ט׳ Ms. M. (ed. ט׳ ט׳ להדי ט׳ . . ., v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note) provided the drops follow each other without intermission.

טיפה, טפה f. (טפף II, cmp. טף) drop. Taan. 6b על וכ׳ וט׳ ט׳ כל for every drop of rain which thou hast caused to come down for us. Toh. III, 3. טיפוח m. (טפח I) clapping of hands (in mourn- ing or rejoicing). Y. Bets. V. 63a לרצונו שהוא ט׳ tippuah means a clapping which is done purposely, opp. סיפוק spontaneous clapping; M. Kat. 27b ביד ט׳ tippuah is done with the hands, opp. קילום, striking of feet. --
טיפול m. (טפל) 1) nursing, attendance, care. Tosef. Nidd. II, 4 וכ׳ בט׳ . . חייבת a woman is bound to nurse her child twenty four months (during which she must not remarry), whether her own &c. B. Mets. 69a טיפולה מרובה the care-taking of small cattle is more trouble- some; Bekh. 26b טפ׳; a. e. -- 2) toilet-paste, v. טפל. טיפונא m. (v. טופיינא) surplus, excess. Tem. 30a דכלב טיפונה the excess of the value of the dog over that of any single lamb taken in exchange.
