יתר (b. h.; cmp. אשר, עתר) [to be strong; denom. יתר cord, v. יתרא I] to be rich, plentifal. Nif. נותר to be left over. - Part. נותר m. portions of sacri- flces left over beyond the legal tlime and bound to be burnt. Keri th. III, 4 וכ׳ מן ׳ והיה and it was an overdue rem- nant of sacrilices. lIb. I, 1 ׳ דם blood of overdue sacri- fices. Meil.
