לובי m. h. a. ch. (b. h., v. לוב) Libyan. Y. Kil. VIII, 31c; Y. Sabb. V, beg. 7b an Egyptian bean when fresh צווחין וכ׳ ל׳ ליה is named Libyan, when dried, they call it Egyptian bean; . מצרי הוא ל׳ הוא אמרה הדא this proves that Libyan and Egyptian means the sam e (v. לוב). V (IV), 3 וכ׳ לוגמיו מלא השותה he who drinks (on the Day of Atonement) a quantity equal to the fill of his cheeks; expl.
