נוף II m. (b. h.; נוף) boughs of a tree, soinging branches, summmit. Y. Ber. I, 2c bot. וכ׳ נופו דבר סוף לא (not טפו) after all, not only its boughs in swinging, but even its main branches (extended over an area of &c.). Macc. II, 7 וכ׳ נוטה ונופו . . . אילן a tree which stands within the limits (of the place of refuge), but whose branches spread beyond &c. Ib.; Maasr.
