סכתא, סיכ׳ f. (סכי II; cmp. b. h. משכית) face, stamp of a coin. B. Kam. 99b נפק שעתא דההיא חדתא בס׳ טעו ס׳ מתותי they (the experts haviing declared a coin can- celled) made a mistake in not noticing the new stamp (by which it was reinstated), for it just had come from the stamtpiing process.
