עריכות f. (preced.) arrangement; שפתים ע׳ (cmp. סדר) arrangement (of the words) of the lips, prayer. Gen. R. s. 49 (ref. to Job XI, 4 ערכו חין) וכ׳ שפתיו בע׳ ניתן חן (not שפתים) grace was granted for the prayer of his (Abraham's) lips, when he prayed for mercy &c.; Yalk. ib. 83.

ערימה, ערמה f. (b. h.; ערם I) pile, heap, stack. Maasr. I, 5, sq. ע׳ משיעמיד (are subject to tithes) from the time he piles up the fruit. Tosef. Ter. III, 17 מן תורמין הע׳ על הכרי מן לא הכרי על הע׳ (ed. Zuck. המון מן) you may separate T'rumah from a stack for the pile (of threshed grain), but not from a pile for the stack. Ib. IV, 16 מורחת ע׳ a finished pile. Ex. R. s. 31 הזאת שה׳ כשם וכ׳ ע׳ העולם את הקבה עשה כך . עומדת as the stack stands ready, and the priest goes in and takes T'rumah of it, so the Lord has made the world a stack and taken Israel as his T'rumah (with ref. to Jer. עריס I m. (ערס) arbor, espalier (of grape vines). Kil. VI, 1 וכ׳ הנוטע ע׳ איזהו what is an aris (in a legal sense)? A row of (at least) five vines along a fence. Ib. 2 ע׳ המדרבה מן היוצא an espalier that hangs over an em- bankment. Ib. 6 (expl.ע׳ פסקי) וכ׳ שחרב 'ע an espalier which was destroyed in the middle, while five vines remain- ed on each side; Tosef. ib. IV, 8 חריס ed. Zuck. (oth. ed. חרין; corr. acc.); Y. ib.
