פורענות f. (preced. wds.) retribution, reward; esp. punishmentt, divine visitation; evil dispensation, reverses. Yoma 76a; Snh. 100b, a. e. פ׳ ממידת מרובה טובה מידה the measure of divine goodness is larger than that of evil dia- pensation.
