קנקנא m. ch. =קנקן I, 1) vessel. B. Bath. 22a תהי פוק הינקנקב היל go and smell at his vessel, i. e. examine his mental capacity; a. e. - 2) coullter, plough. Y. Ber. II, 5a top ׳כו ךינקנק.. . ירש untie thy ox and untie thy plough, for the Temple has been destroyed; ׳כו ךינקנק . . . רוטק tie thy ox and tie thy plough, for king Messiah was born; Lam. R. to I, 16 Ar. (ed. ךנדפ).

קנת f. (v. קנן; cmp. קנקן I) [that which is inserted,] handle, helve. Macc. II, 1 ותנקמ Ar. (or ותנקמ fr. הנק; ed. ותקמ, v. תק). -- Pl. תותנק. Y'lamd. to Lev. XIX quot. in Ar. ׳כו םיחמר לש ׳ק handles of spears and knives. -- [Kel. XV, 1 R. S. Vers., v. הטסיק] קנתא, קנתה ch. same. Y. Naz. R. s. 15 ןוירשו ׳ק שובלל ידכ כו strong enough to wear helmet, mail and (carry) arms. - Pl. ןידיעק. Y'lamd. to Gen. III, 22, quot. in Ar. (ref. to. ןוהתלברכ) ׳קה ולא that means the helmets.
