II, 8) ושידתין שידה תרגימו הכי they translate it thus, demoness and demonesses, . e. all sorts of female demons; Yalk. Koh. 96s ושדתין שדה. Gitt. l. c. וכ׳ וש׳ ש׳ אייתי let the demons come, and press them against one another, perchance they know; וכ׳ ושידתי שידה אייתי he sum- moned the demons &c.
