A Tale of Rosamund Gray and Old Blind Margaret (1798)
by Charles Lamb

This is the first solo work of Charles Lamb in book form. He had previously contributed to periodicals and to books of poetry by Samuel Taylor Coleridge and Charles Lloyd. The transcription is of the first edition, which was initially issued under a Birmingham imprint, but changed to London early in the print run. [Based on Bibliography of the writings of Charles and Mary Lamb; a literary history (1908), by Joseph Charles Thomson, pp. 11-13.]
