April, 1594, aged 20; chaplain New College, B.A. 12 June, 1596, M.A. 28 April, 1599 (incorp. at Cambridge 1604), B.D. from Corpus Christi Coll. 19 June, 1606, licenced to preach 29 Oct., 1606, D.D. 11 June, 1610, rector of Radnage, Bucks, 1606, and of Farthingstone, Northants, 1609, of Fawley, Hants, 1611, etc., preb. of Lincoln 1608, archdeacon of Winchester 1609, and preb. 1611, dean of Bath and Wells 1621, buried in Wells Cathedral 27 July, 1631.
