Coleman, Thomas, of Oxon, pleb. Magdalen Hall, matric. 28 April, 1615, aged 17; B.A. 10 June, 1618, M.A. 6 July, 1621, 'Rabbi Coleman,' an accomplished Hebraist, rector of Blyton, co. Lincoln, 1623-42, became a grand covenanter, one of the assembly of divines, rector of St. Peter's, Cornhill, 1645, until his death, buried there 30 March, 1646.
