Humphreys, Humphrey, s. Richd., of Llanihangel, co. Merioneth, pp. Jesus Coll., matric. 16 Feb., 1665-6, aged 17; B.A. 1669, M.A. 1672, B.D. 1679, D.D. 1682; born at Penrhyn Daûdraeth, co. Merioneth, 24 Nov., 1648, chaplain to Dr. Humphrey Lloyd, bishop of Bangor, rector of Llanfrothen, co. Merioneth, 1670, of Trawsfynydd, co. Merioneth, 1672, of Criccieth als Merthir, co. Carnarvon, 1677, and of Llaniestyn, co. Carnarvon, 1680, and of Eastyn or Queenhope, Flints, 1685, canon, dean of Bangor 1680, bishop 1689, and of Hereford 1701 until he died 20 Nov., 1712.
