All Souls' Coll., matric. 10 June, 1681, aged 17; B.A. 1685, M.A. from Christ's Coll., Cambridge, 1690; fellow Eton College 2 July, 1726; rector of Merston or Marston 1689, vicar of Amberley 1701, rector of Bignor (all Sussex) 1701, canon of Chichester 1706, and vicar of Maple Durham, Oxon, 1726, until his death 16 Nov., 1733.
