Lloyd, David, of co. Montgomery, gent. Hart Hall, matric. 30 Oct., 1612, aged 15; B.A. 22 June, 1615 (incorporated at Cambridge 1616); fellow of All Souls' Coll. 9 May, 1618, B.C.L. (? May), 1622, D.C.L. 26 March, 1628, canon of Chester 1639-42, chaplain to the Earl of Derby, rector of Trefdraeth, co. Anglesey, 1641-2, of Llangynhafal 1642, and vicar of Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd, co. Denbigh, 1642, and warden of Ruthin 1642, deprived of his preferments on the breaking out of the rebellion, but reinstated at the restoration, dean of St. Asaph 1660, one of the comportioners of Llansannan, co.
