Owen, John, of co. Carnarvon, gent. New Coll., matric. 22 March, 1582-3, aged 18; scholar 1582, B.C.L. 2 May, 1590 (3s. Thomas, of Plas-dû-in-Llanarmon, co. Carnarvon), "the epigrammist," taught school at Trylegh, co. Monmouth, and at Warwick; died in 1622, buried in St. Paul's cathedral. See Ath. ii. 320.
