Palmer, John, admitted a pensioner of St. John's Coll., Cambridge, Oct., 1567, from Kent, scholar 1568, B.A. 1571-2, fellow 1573, M.A. 1575 (incorporated 12 July, 1580), proctor 1587, created D.D. 1595; master of Magdalen Coll., Cambridge, 1595-1604, dean of Peterborough 1597, and prebendary of Lichfield 1605, until his death (in prison for debt) about July, 1607.
