Pendarves, John, s. John, of Crowan, Cornwall, pleb. Exeter Coll., matric. 9 Feb., 1637-8, aged 15, B.A. 3 March, 1641-2; lecturer at Wantage and pastor to the anabaptists at Abingdon, Berks; died in London Sept., 1656, buried at Abingdon 30th; brother of Ralph. See Ath. iii. 419.
