Pendleton, Edward (Pendylton), "Gymnasiarch," at Manchester, B.Gram. 1547-8, said to have proceeded D.D. (s. Thomas, of Manchester), fellow of collegiate church of Manchester 1557, head master of the grammar school there, vicar of Eccles, co. Lancaster; made his will 7 June, 1576.
