Pitts, John (Pyts), of Hants, pleb. New Coll., matric. entry under date 20 March, 1578-9, aged 15 (s. Henry, of Alton, Hants), M.A. at Pont-a-Musson and B.D.; D.D. at Ingolstadt in Bavaria; canon of Verdun, and dean of Liverdune in Loraine, where he died 17 Oct., 1616. See Ath. ii. 172.
