Prichard, William, of co. Monmouth, gent. Jesus Coll., matric. 1 Nov., 1581, aged 18; student of Christ Church, B.A. 14 June, 1585, M.A. 15 May, 1588, proctor 1595. vicar of his native parish Abergavenny 1589, and of Caerwent, co. Monmouth, 1601, rector of Ewelme, Oxon, 1606-29, canon of Sarum and of St. Paul's 1620; died 1629, a benefactor to Jesus Coll. See Gutch, i. 573; & Al. West. 56.
