Sandys, Edwin, of Kent, equitis fil. Wadham Coll., matric. entry dated 11 May, 1621, aged 9; of Northbourne, Kent, a colonel in the parliamentary army (2s. Sir Edwin, of Northbourne); died from a wound received at the battle of Worcester, buried in Worcester cathedral Oct., 1642; brother of Henry 1621. See Gardiner, 59; & Ath. ii. 474.
