Steward, (Sir) Simon (Stywarde), of Hants, arm. Hart Hall, matric. entry 8 Dec., 1587, aged 13, B.A. 11 Feb., 1590-1, as "arm. fil. unicus;" student of Gray's Inn 1590 (as son and heir of Nicholas, LL.D. Cambridge), knighted 23 July, 1603, M.P.
