Wadham Coll., matric. 29 Nov., 1785, aged 16, bar.-at-law, Lincoln's Inn, 1792, advocate-general Madras 1803, recorder of Bombay 1812, knighted by patent 9 April, 1813; born 10 Sep., 1769; died in the Mauritius 16 July, 1819.
