Barrington, Shute, s. John, Viscount Barrington. Merton Coll., matric. 10 April, 1752, aged 18; B.A. 21 Jan., 1755, M.A. 1757, D.C.L. Christ Church 1762, bishop of Llandaff 1 Oct., 1769, Salisbury 1782, and of Durham 1791, until his death 25 March, 1826, aged 92. See Foster's Peerage.
