Bentham, Jeremy, s. Jeremy, of Crutched Friars, London, arm. Queen's Coll., matric. 26 June, 1760, aged 13; B.A. 1764, M.A. 1767, bar.-at-law, Lincoln's Inn, 6 Nov., 1769, bencher 1817, a celebrated writer on jurisprudence, died 6 June, 1832, aged 84, by will his body was dissected, and his skeleton deposited in University College.
