Brent, William Brent, s. William Hodgkinson, of Eltham, Kent, arm. Christ Church, matric. 20 Oct., 1804, aged 18; B.A. 1809, assumed the surname of Brent in lieu of Hodgkinson by royal licence 1807, bar.-at-law of Lincoln's Inn 1813.
