Burleton, William, s. William. of East Knoyle, Wilts, gent. Hertford Coll., matric. 18 March, 1742-3, aged 18; created D.C.L. 3 July, 1754, then of Wyken, co. Leicester, J.P., bar.-at-law, Lincoln's Inn, 1748, invited to the bench 23 Jan., 1776, but never sat, recorder of Leicester 1769, and of Shaftesbury 1785, until his death 11 Nov., 1786.
