Burrough, Stanley, s. Edward Burroughs, of Drigg, Cumberland, cler. Queen's Coll., matric. 14 June, 1744, aged 18; B.A. 1749, M.A. 1753 (dropped the final 's' in his name), head-master Rugby 1759-78, rector of Sapcote 1778, until his death 12 April, 1807. See Rugby School Reg., xi.
