Butt, Phelpes John, s. James, of Finchley, Middlesex, arm. Lincoln Coll., matric. 5 Nov., 1816, aged 19; B.A. 1820, M.A. 1824 (as John) chaplain to the Earl of Bessborough, died 20 July, 1883, father of Mr. Justice Butt.
