Brasenose Coll., matric. 30 Jan., 1806, aged 18; B.A. 1809, fellow, M.A. 1812, B.D. 1819, D.D. 1831, principal St. Alban Hall 1831-61, Camden professor ancient history 1825-61, rector of Stoke Bruerne, Northants, 1828, declined the deanery of Carlisle in 1844, died 23 May, 1861.
