Carnegie, William, Earl of Northesk, K.B., and admiral, created D.C.L. 30 June, 1813, 7th earl, G.C.B., third in command at the battle of Trafalgar, and for his services on that occasion received an augmentation to his armorial ensigns and supporters, a representative peer 1796-1807, 1830, until his death, 28 May, 1831.
