Cavendish, (Sir) Henry, (Bart.), s. William, of Doveridge, co. Derby, arm. University Coll., matric. 17 Aug., 1724, aged 17; high sheriff Derbyshire 1741, teller of the Exchequer, Ireland, collector for Cork 1743, and a commissioner for Revenue, Ireland, 1747, M.P. Tallagh 1756-60, Lismore 1761-76, P.C., created a baronet 7 May, 1755, died 31 March, 1776. See Foster's Peerage, B. Waterpark.
