Clinton, Charles Fynes-, s. Norris Fynes, of Clerkenwell, London, gent. Oriel Coll., matric. 16 Dec., 1766, aged 19; B.C.L. 1776, D.C.L. 1788, rector of Gamston and Cromwell, Notts, preb. of St. Peter's, Westminster, 1788, and minister of St. Margaret's 1797, resumed his patronymic Clinton by royal licence 26 April, 1821, died 13 Nov., 1827, father of Henry Clinton and Charles named below.
