Cocks, Charles, s. John, of Eastnor, co. Hereford, arm. Worcester Coll., matric. 9 March, 1741-2, aged 16; created a baronet 7 Oct., 1772, and Baron Somers 17 May, 1784, M.P. Reigate 1747-84, bar.-at-law, Lincoln's Inn 1750, died 30 Jan., 1806. See Foster's Peerage.
