Cole, Sir Christopher, Knt., captain in the navy, created D.C.L. 10 June, 1812, knighted 29 May, 1812 (as proxy for Sir R. G. Keats, K.B.), K.C.B. 1815, knight of the order of Maria Theresa (of Austria), and of St. George (of Russia), a colonel of marines, M.P.
