Cotton, Sir John Hynde, of Madingley, co. Cambridge, baronet, created D.C.L. 7 July, 1763, 4th baronet (son of Sir John Hinde Cotton, Bart.), M.P. St. Germain 1741-7, Marlborough 1752-60, Cambridgeshire April 1764-80, died 23 Jan., 1795.
