Drake, Francis, s. Francis, of York (city), gent. Lincoln Coll., matric. 13 Nov., 1739, aged 18, B.A. 1743, M.A. 1746; fellow Magdalen Coll. B.D. 1754, D.D. 1773, lecturer of Pontefract, vicar of Womersley, of St. Mary, Beverley, 1767, rector of Winestead in Holderness 1775, until his death in 1795, his father was the author of the 'Eboracum.'
